The Hager BD363N is a type A RCD block rated 63 A across three poles with a 30 mA residual current setting. An RCD block (a "bloc differentiel") is not a standalone breaker. It bolts onto a matching circuit breaker and adds earth-fault protection to it, so one device provides the overcurrent protection and the other the residual current protection. It must be paired with a compatible breaker of the correct frame and rating — it cannot be used on its own. It is a type A device: it responds to sinusoidal AC residual currents and to pulsating DC residual currents, which is the general-purpose requirement wherever ordinary electronic loads are present. At 30 mA it is rated for the protection of people against electric shock, not merely for fire and equipment protection, which requires a residual setting of 30 mA or less. Nominal voltage 220-400 V; the residual setting and the tripping delay are both fixed. Supplied by cBallast on quote-to-invoice terms; lead time and freight are quoted per RFQ against the destination Incoterm.
