Elpress AKS300-185 — bimetallic (AlCu) through connector for jointing a 300 mm² aluminium conductor to a 185 mm² copper conductor. Aluminium is friction-welded to copper from solid material, giving a direct Al-to-Cu splice without an intermediate transition washer. Two compression crimps are made on the aluminium side and one on the copper side. Accepts stranded/solid aluminium (IEC 60228 Class 1/2) and stranded copper (Class 2) conductors; tested to IEC 61238-1 within the Elpress crimp system. Range 16-400 mm².
