The Eaton EMM18 is a cooling-fan accessory for use with S811+ soft starters, providing forced cooling to allow operation at higher duty cycles and ambient temperatures. Supplied as a spare or bolt-on accessory, it is mounted to the soft-starter chassis according to the manufacturer's instructions. Typical applications include pump, fan and compressor motor starts where thermal derating would otherwise limit performance.
