Danfoss SVA-S 15 hand-operated shut-off (stop) valve for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, code 148B5230. The SVA-S is the standard (short) globe-pattern stop valve used to isolate sections of refrigeration plant for service; it seals bubble-tight when closed and gives full bore when open. This SKU is the straightway body in 15 mm (1/2 in) butt weld connections to ASME B 36.10M Schedule 80. Flow coefficient Kv 4.9 m3/h. Steel housing rated 52 bar (754 psig) maximum working pressure, media temperature -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). Back-seating spindle allows the cap/seal to be serviced under pressure; a vented seal cap can be exchanged for a hand wheel. Suits HCFC, non-flammable HFC, R717 (ammonia) and R744 (CO2) systems. Built on the SVL Flexline modular platform — the complete top part is interchangeable across the SVA-S/SVA-L, REG, SCA-X and FIA functions.
