Danfoss REG-SB 15 hand-operated regulating valve for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, code 148B5217. The REG-SB is a manually-operated, globe-pattern regulating (throttling) valve; it acts as a normal shut-off valve in the closed position and as an adjustable throttle when open. It carries the B cone (higher capacity at the same nominal size); the cone is positioned on the spindle and read against an outer scale for repeatable manual setting, and the vented cap can be exchanged for a hand wheel. This SKU is the straightway body in 15 mm (1/2 in) npt connections to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1. Flow coefficient Kv 5 m3/h (Cv 5.8 gal/min); flow area 115 mm2 (0.178 in2).
