Danfoss REG-SA SS 20 hand-operated regulating valve for the SVL Flexline industrial-refrigeration range, code 148B5385. The REG-SA SS is a manually-operated, globe-pattern regulating (throttling) valve in a stainless-steel housing; it acts as a normal shut-off valve in the closed position and as an adjustable throttle when open. It carries the A cone (fine, near-linear throttling); the cone is positioned on the spindle and read against an outer scale for repeatable manual setting, and the vented cap can be exchanged for a hand wheel. This SKU is the angleway body in 20 mm (3/4 in) butt-weld connections to EN 10220. Flow coefficient Kv 1.5 m3/h (Cv 1.7 gal/min). Maximum working pressure 52 bar (754 psig); media temperature range -60 to 150 C (-76 to 302 F). Stainless-steel construction suits corrosive-duty and stainless-piped HCFC, non-flammable HFC, R717 (ammonia) and R744 (CO2) systems. Built on the SVL Flexline modular platform: the complete top part is interchangeable so a REG-SA SS / REG-SB SS body can be converted to another SVL Flexline function (shut-off, check & stop, check valve or strainer) by changing the insert.
