Danfoss KVD 15 receiver pressure controller (code 034L0177) from the Danfoss KVD range of mechanical, self-acting pressure regulating valves for commercial and light-industrial refrigeration. The KVD is a modulating receiver pressure controller installed in the hot-gas bypass to the receiver. It opens on falling receiver pressure and bypasses hot gas to the receiver to maintain a constant minimum receiver pressure, ensuring a sufficient liquid pressure to the expansion valves during low ambient operation. It works together with the KVR condensing pressure controller. This SKU has 16 mm (5/8 in) ODF solder ODF solder connections (inlet and outlet), a regulating range of 3 – 20 bar (44 – 290 psig) and a maximum working pressure of 28 bar (406 psig); media temperature range -45 to 130 C (-49 to 266 F).
