Holds 1 solid core of core-size code 48 cu.in.; shell volume 1.94 L, net volume 1.492 L. The Danfoss ELIMINATOR DCR is a semi-hermetic (bolted, serviceable) filter drier shell for the liquid and/or suction line of refrigeration, freezing and air-conditioning systems. The steel housing and top cover form a pressure vessel that holds one or more replaceable solid cores; the cover unbolts so the spent core can be exchanged without cutting the shell out of the line. Solid cores are ordered separately by function: 48-DM (100% molecular sieve, moisture adsorption), 48-DC (80% molecular sieve + 20% activated alumina, moisture and acid), 48-DA (30% molecular sieve + 70% activated alumina, post-burnout cleanup) and 48-F (strainer, retains particles above 15 microns). The all-steel housing is compatible with every listed refrigerant. Maximum working pressure 46 bar (667 psig); media temperature -40 to 70 C (-40 to 160 F); PED category I. For HFC, HFO and HCFC refrigerants (R1234ze(E), R125, R134a, R22/R407C, R23, R404A, R407A, R407F, R410A, R438A, R448A, R449A, R449B, R450A, R452A, R507A, R513A) in liquid / suction lines.
