The Danfoss ELIMINATOR DCR is a semi-hermetic (bolted, serviceable) filter drier shell for the liquid and/or suction line of transcritical CO2 (R744) refrigeration systems. The steel housing and top cover form a pressure vessel that holds one or more replaceable solid cores; the cover unbolts so the spent core can be exchanged without cutting the shell out of the line. Solid cores are ordered separately by function: 48-DM / 96-DM (100% molecular sieve, moisture adsorption), 48-DC (80% molecular sieve + 20% activated alumina, moisture and acid), 48-DA (post-burnout cleanup) and 48-F (strainer). This high-pressure variant is rated 90 bar (1305 psig) for CO2 duty. Maximum working pressure 90 bar (1305 psig); media temperature -55 to 100 C (-67 to 212 F); PED category II. Supplied as a single-pack shell assembly (housing, top cover and one flat gasket); solid cores ordered separately.
