Danfoss AVT (fast) (065-0607) — self-acting thermostatic actuator / temperature controller, PN 25. The AVT (fast) is a self-acting proportional thermostatic actuator working on the liquid-expansion principle: the temperature sensor, capillary tube and bellows are liquid-filled, and on rising temperature the liquid expands to close the valve. It is type-tested to EN 14597 (TR/TW 700). It comprises a temperature sensor (255 mm × Ø16 mm), a 4 m capillary tube and a bellows element; the sensor is fitted into the pipe via a sensor pocket with connection R 3/4 conic ext. thread acc. DIN 2999. Temperature setting range 85 – 125 °C. Gain Ks 0.7; time constant 30 s; maximum media temperature at the sensor 175 °C; ambient temperature 0–70 °C. Mounts on Danfoss AVQT / AVQMT / AVQM flow-and-temperature controllers and VG(S) valves to add self-acting temperature control in district-heating, hot-water and steam systems.
