Danfoss AVP differential pressure controller, PN 25, DN 50, kVS 20 m³/h, Δp 0.2 – 1 bar adjustable, external thread G 2 1/2 A, return mounting (003H6290)

Danfoss AVP (003H6290) — self-acting differential pressure controller, PN 25, DN 50, for mounting in the return pipe, for district heating and central heating systems. The AVP closes on rising differential pressure, holding a stable differential pressure across the controlled circuit so that connected control valves keep their authority. It consists of a control valve and an actuator with one control diaphragm and a handle for differential-pressure setting. Unlike the AVPB, the AVP is a differential-pressure controller only (no integrated flow limiter). kVS 20 m³/h; differential-pressure setting range 0.2 – 1 bar, adjustable via handle. Maximum differential pressure 16 bar; medium temperature 2–150 °C; leakage 0.05% of kVS (IEC 534). Valve body ductile iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT (GGG 40.3), valve seat stainless steel 1.4571, valve cone dezincing free brass CuZn36Pb2As, control diaphragm EPDM. Connection external thread G 2 1/2 A (ISO 228/1), via tailpieces (ordered separately). Media: circulation water / glycolic water up to 30% (pH 7–10). OEM P/N 003H6290, EAN 5702421538098. Technical data quoted verbatim from the Danfoss AVP PN 25 (VD.55.W6.02) data sheet and store.danfoss.com (code 003H6290). differential pressure 16 bar); Temperature range: 2 – 150 °C (medium); HS code: 8481.80. Used in commercial refrigeration, provision-room cooling and reefer plant rooms across HFC, HFO and CO2 (R744) refrigerants.

Compatibility

Danfoss AVP for DN 50 district-heating or central-heating circuits, PN 25, return-pipe mounting. Size by the branch design flow (kVS 20 m³/h) and set the differential-pressure setpoint within 0.2 – 1 bar. Confirm the connection (external thread G 2 1/2 A (ISO 228/1)) and pressure class (PN 25) match the pipework; order the matching tailpiece/union-nut set and impulse tube separately. The flow-mounting counterpart carries a different code — verify the mounting version against the installation drawing. For combined differential-pressure control and flow limiting use the AVPB/AVPQ instead. Maximum differential pressure 16 bar, medium temperature up to 150 °C.
