Danfoss AKS 4100 guided-wave (Time Domain Reflectometry) liquid level sensor, code 084H4562, coaxial version (d14). Continuous refrigerant liquid-level measurement in receivers, standpipes, intermediate coolers, oil pots and pressure vessels. 1000 mm (39.4 in) rigid coaxial probe (14 mm / 0.55 in outer stainless tube). Process connection G 1 in pipe thread. With integrated HMI display unit, language set English (default) / Japanese / Chinese / Russian. 2-wire loop-powered 4–20 mA output proportional to liquid level; unaffected by foam, vapour, boiling surface, density change or dielectric-constant change. Max. working pressure -1 to 100 bar (-14.5 to 1450 psig); medium temperature -60 °C to +100 °C; ambient -40 °C to +80 °C; enclosure IP66/67 (NEMA 4X housing / 6P probe). The coaxial version is mandatory for R744 (CO2) and is the version specified for marine applications; it is also suitable for R717 (ammonia), HCFC and HFC. Loop-powered transmitter — pair with a compatible 14–30 V DC controller/indicator (e.g. Danfoss EKC 347 liquid-level controller) ordered separately. Coaxial version is mandatory for R744 (CO2) and for marine service; confirm probe length, process connection and refrigerant before ordering. Each AKS 4100/4100U must be programmed via an HMI display unit at commissioning.
