Danfoss AFQM 2 DN 80 PN 16 pressure-independent flow control valve — flange, Kvs 80 m³/h, flow 12–60 m³/h (003G5503)

Danfoss AFQM 2 DN 80 PN 16 — self-acting pressure-independent flow control valve (flow limiter with integrated control valve) for district heating and district cooling circuits. Combines automatic flow limitation with a control valve in one body; the flow set point is held independent of differential-pressure variation across the valve. Flange connection. Kvs 80 m³/h; adjustable flow range 12–60 m³/h (flow restrictor differential pressure dpb 0.5 bar). Media temperature 2 °C to 150 °C. Maximum operating pressure 16 bar. Body Grey cast iron EN-GJL-250 (GG-25); valve cone and seat Stainless steel mat. No. 1.4021; EPDM seals and rolling diaphragm. Normally-open stem, stroke 19 mm. Medium: district heating/cooling circulation water (glycolic water up to 30%). OEM designation "AFQM 2, PN 16, DN 80, Flow rate [m³/h]: 12 - 60, Flange, Mounting version: Free". OEM P/N 003G5503. EAN 5714279064971. Technical data quoted verbatim from store.danfoss.com (code 003G5503).

Compatibility

AFQM 2 is a self-acting flow limiter with an integrated control valve; select by pipe size (DN 80), pressure class (PN 16) and required flow range. The AFQM range spans DN 65–250 in PN 16 / PN 25 / PN 40, each size offered in two overlapping flow bands (flow-restrictor dpb 0.2 bar or 0.5 bar). For combined flow + differential-pressure limitation use AFQMP; for an external electric set-point use the AFQM 6 / motorised variants. Confirm DN, PN and flow band against the AFQM data sheet before ordering.
