Danfoss AFPA 2 PN 16 — a self-acting differential-pressure-relief controller (surplus differential-pressure / overflow controller). It opens the matching globe valve body via its rolling-diaphragm actuator when the differential pressure across the controlled section exceeds the spring setting, discharging surplus flow through a bypass to hold the differential pressure at the set maximum. The actuator carries the diaphragm and setting spring only; it combines with a Danfoss VFG 2 / VFGS 2 / VFU 2 globe valve body (ordered separately) to form a complete self-acting controller for district heating and district cooling circuits.
