Danfoss AFP 2 PN 40 — a self-acting differential-pressure controller. It keeps the differential pressure across the controlled section constant by modulating the matching globe valve body via its rolling-diaphragm actuator, using the pressure signal fed to the actuator chambers. The actuator carries the diaphragm and setting spring only; it combines with a Danfoss VFG 2 / VFGS 2 / VFU 2 globe valve body (ordered separately) to form a complete self-acting controller for district heating and district cooling circuits.
