Danfoss AFA 2 PN 16 — a self-acting pressure-relief controller (surplus-pressure / overflow controller). It opens the matching globe valve body via its rolling-diaphragm actuator when the controlled pressure rises above the spring setting, discharging surplus flow to hold the upstream pressure at the set maximum. The actuator carries the diaphragm and setting spring only; it combines with a Danfoss VFG 2 / VFGS 2 / VFU 2 globe valve body (ordered separately) to form a complete self-acting controller for district heating and district cooling circuits.
