Danfoss AB-QM DN 15 LF — pressure-independent balancing and control valve (PICV) for the terminal branches of heating and cooling systems. A built-in differential-pressure controller keeps the flow through the settable orifice constant regardless of pressure fluctuations elsewhere in the network, so each terminal delivers its design flow without manual re-balancing; the presetting dial fixes the maximum flow (20 %-100 % of nominal) and the valve also acts as a shut-off. DZR brass CuZn36Pb2AS (CW 602N) body, External thread ISO 228/1 G ¾A connection, AB-QM 3.0, PN 16, nominal flow 0.275 m³/h, control differential pressure 16 KPa to 600 KPa, seat leakage Class IV with the recommended actuator, media temperature -10 °C to 120 °C. AB-QM is a pressure-independent control valve — one per terminal unit (fan coil, AHU coil, radiator circuit). Select by pipe size (DN 15) and required design flow (nominal 0.275 m³/h); the low-flow body sets the flow band and the presetting dial fixes the actual maximum. Fit a compatible M30 x 1.5 actuator for modulating or on/off control. Order the with-test-plugs variant if commissioning flow measurement is required.
