It reports the UV-C actually reaching the water, which is the measured variable a validated disinfection duty is controlled and alarmed on — not lamp hours, and not lamp current. This is the outright-purchase listing, supplied new with no core return; the same sensor is also stocked on a core-exchange basis under item 10171-0610 at a lower price against return of the old unit.
