A 50 ohm thermistor used for temperature sensing in Berson ultraviolet plant. Medium-pressure lamps run hot and a reactor left energised at low or no flow will overheat, so the temperature channel is a protection function: a failed thermistor either trips the plant needlessly or removes a safety interlock. Check the resistance against the value below before fitting.
