The Arvid Nilsson 18008000 is an M8 hexagonal lock nut to DIN 985 in stainless / acid-resistant A4-80 grade with a wax finish and integrated nylon insert. The nylon ring provides prevailing-torque locking, resisting loosening under vibration without additional adhesive. It is used in stainless-steel structural and marine fastening where a self-locking nut is specified.
